Product ready for certification

Certifications

Relying on HS Automation for the production of electrical panels for the US and Canadian markets means you can be sure of benefiting from a product which is ready for certification, compliant with local regulations and safe right from the installation phase.

Compliance is ensured prior to shipment:

HSA panels are built to the specific regulations of the country of destination and are certified before delivery by qualified and accredited technicians. This process ensures that the panel is ready for installation without the risk of non-compliance by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
For Canada, where certification rules vary by province, we ensure that each panel meets the required standards, reducing on-site approval times.

REFERENCE REGULATIONS

National Electric Code (NEC) – United States

The NEC is updated every three years to improve safety and adapt to new technologies. The latest edition, NEC 2023, introduces Section 110.17, which requires that all preventive maintenance and service activities be performed by qualified personnel and follow the manufacturer’s instructions and industry standards.

Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) – Canada

The CEC, published by the CSA Group, sets safety standards for electrical installations in Canada. However, each province may have specific regulations, such as SPE-1000, which in Ontario is overseen by the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority).
The 26th edition of the CEC entered into force in 2024.
